Over 60 gallons of batter, donated by the Pantry Diner, was turned into the pancakes that 1,200 guests at last week’s Breakfast with Santa’s Helpers event enjoyed. Chefs from the diner also donated their time and talents to feed the crowd that filled the Recreation Center’s lobby for three seatings that morning.

It was a beautiful day for a race. The air was cool, the wind nearly calm, the sun shining and the course dry. And race they did: Nearly 1,000 runners took to village roads last Saturday morning to participate in annual races sponsored by Rockville Centre’s Recreation Center and the Chamber of Commerce.
