Less than a week after a winning New York Lottery ticket worth $8.3 million sold at a card store on Long Beach Road, another from an Oceanside 7-Eleven can now be cashed in for $62,000.
The ticket — a Free Play Quick Pick — was selected during Wednesday's Take5 drawing, after being sold at the 7-Eleven at 475 Merrick Road. The winner will receive $62,136.
A separate $8.3 million jackpot-winning Quick Pick ticket, which was selected during a March 18 drawing, sold at Rip’s Cards & Things. It has been claimed, a New York Lottery spokesman said on Wednesday, and the state agency is currently vetting the ticket claim for authenticity.
The winning numbers for the most recent drawing were 14-15-17-24-34. LOTTO drawings take place every Wednesday and Saturday at 11:21 p.m.
The New York Lottery announced in a release Thursday that the winners of both tickets will be announced in the near future.
