A failure to signal while turning became a bit more when a Nassau police officer pulled over a gray 2006 Infiniti heading north on Doughty Boulevard by Bayview Avenue in Inwood at 9:42 p.m., on April 15.

The subsequent investigation uncovered a loaded black Taurus 9mm semi-automatic handgun from inside the car. Along with that Raymond Colon, 29, of Christopher Avenue, Brooklyn, allegedly was in possession of what the police called “a clear unlabeled pill bottle,” that contained six Alprazolam and four Oxycodone pills.

Colon was charged with criminal possession of a weapon, two counts of criminal possession and two counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance and vehicular violations.

He will be arraigned at First District Court in Hempstead on April 16.
