Every student at Smith Street Elementary School took part in a Veterans Day tribute by placing dozens of American flags on the lawn in front of the school.
From pre-K through fifth grade, children lined up class by class, guided by their teachers, including Edward Rodriguez, Cindy Brown-Barrins and Stephanie Stephenson.
The colorful display served as a heartfelt thank-you to those who have served in the military.
