A Valley Stream man was arrested in connection with a residential burglary that police said occurred at 9 a.m. July 14.

Police said Muneshwer Udit, 53, of Cochran Place, entered a Valley Stream residence without permission and removed assorted items before leaving the scene.

Following an investigation, Udit was arrested without incident.

He was charged with burglary and criminal mischief. He was scheduled to be arraigned July 15 at First District Court in Hempstead.
